Reporting to the Stanford Research Park Program Coordinator the Building Concierge will serve as the primary point of contact for building occupants. This role will greet visitors, manage visitor check-in and check-out process, and route them to the appr opriate building occupant and/or location. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively and build relationships with individuals from diverse communities and cultures and support colleagues from all tiers of the School of Medicine, including faculty, staff, students, and postdoctoral fellows. Additionally, the Building Concierge will answer phone calls and emails directed to the main building contact number/email, respond to general building queries and manage deliveries and pick-up of incoming and outgoing building mail and packages. This position requires a daily onsite presence and will be based in Stanford Research Park. * Greet visitors and route them to appropriate individuals, answer phones, and serve as a resource on unit procedures and general inquiries.

* Disseminate routine communications such as memos, notices, emails, and letters.

* Perform office duties including, but not limited to, handling of incoming and outgoing mail, entering data into basic tables, reports, or spreadsheets, making copies, and monitoring and ordering of office supplies.

* Manage deliveries and mail room space for assigned building.

* Administer calendars for building shared conference rooms and common areas.

* 2 years of relevant experience in a professional environment

* Prior experience in customer service or hospitality a plus

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Punctual with strong attendance history

* Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.

* Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

* Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.

* Frequently sitting.

* Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

* Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.
